We are looking for a diverse set of security professionals to design, build, and scale security at Passport. We value intellectual curiosity, practicality, data-driven decisions, and believe in an “end user experience” approach to security. We believe in saying “yes, and” instead of “no” when it comes to security. We believe security is a business enabler, not something to be used as a punishment.
Reporting to the VP, Information & Cybersecurity (CISO), the Director of Product Security works proactively with leaders of all levels from across the company to design, implement, and support solutions that meet Passport’s business objectives, defined policies and standards.
Develop and communicate a risk-based and data-driven strategy and roadmap for security services and solutions, in partnership with engineering and operations partners, customers, and other stakeholders.
Define and plan priorities for security-related activities based on that risk analysis.
Ensure Passport is compliant with our legal and contractual security obligations.
Promote awareness and education throughout Passport regarding security best practices and methodologies.
Build a team focused on securing our platform and protecting our customers and our business.
Work directly with our clients to ensure that they trust that we have a strong security program (security questionnaires, attestations, etc.).
Help attract, build, and retain a world-class security team at Passport.
You want to create cybersecurity solutions based on threat, data, and design thinking.
You have threat modeling experience, and the ability to develop processes and scenarios to inform risk mitigation and secure development and deployment controls.
You enjoy working with others, building strong relationships, and are open to listening to opinions that may differ from your own.
You are curious and approach every challenge with a solutions-oriented mindset and know-how to deliver.
You are intellectual, introspective, and inquisitive.
You have excellent attention to detail and can troubleshoot issues with ease.
You are also not afraid to speak your mind, throw down the gauntlet, and stand up for what you believe.
You are up to date on all of the latest technologies and blogs, and as someone committed to continual improvement, you are excited to join and contribute to the overall success of Passport.
